Welcome to SHAPE International Cycling Club (SICC), THE cycling club for NATO-based Military and Civilian employees in Belgium. We offer expert advice, guidance and coaching to our members and meet regularly for lunchtime, evening and weekend rides of varying distances and speeds. Whether you're new to cycling, seeking a return to the road or keen to maintain your fitness, come and join us. What have you got to lose? To find out more, browse the site and, if you still have questions, 'Contact Us'.
What keen road cyclist hasn't dreamt of cycling the fabled pave of the Fleche Wallonne, Liege-Bastogne-Liege and Ronde van Vlaanderen but has been put off by thoughts of overcoming the language barrier and knowing who to turn to?
If this is you, fear not, help is at hand. SICC members are actively involved with local cycling clubs and organisations and participate in many local and national cycling events, often containing ex-professional BENELUX cyclists. Whatever event you want to ride in you can be certain that other SICC members will be there for you.
We have a database of routes and hold techincal workshops to cover; GPS navigation hints & tips, cycle maintenance & repair, diet, nutrition, exercise and training. In fact, for a club so young, SICC is punching above it's weight.
